The frontal attack upon our country is not an isolated phenomenon but part of all that is happening in the international environment.
On the economic front, the extreme neoliberal policies, by destroying systematically the social state, are attacking without pity the middle and lower incomes.
On the geopolitical front, this attack constitutes part of a deeper and more complex plan that is in full implementation within a framework of processes, strategic conflicts and realignments that tend to dramatically change the balances and the architecture of the planet. The privileged area for these changes are in the vital for us area of Eurasia and in particularly, the Balkans and the Middle East.
The traditional foreign dependency of Greece to the EU and the Eurozone,has resulted in its total submission to the memorandum regime,through which a new institutional,social and economic reality has been imposed tha changes dramatically the nature of the country.
All the critical decisions are taken in Brussels,Berlin and by the strong economical interests. They are imposed upon us under conditions of submission of our country. Thus it is not an exaggeration to speak about a new occupation. It is an occupation that has been imposed by the common currency using the debt as an excuse. The debt,that has increased even more, has been created by the distorted and dependent economic “development” of decades and because of the accession of our country to the mechanism of the common currency.
The result of all this is the impoverishment of the majority of the Greek citizens, the de-hellenization of the infrastructure for productivity and development, the emigration of youth, the unique demographic collapse of the country and the dramatic deterioration of the international position of Greece in an extremely dangerous and changing geopolitical environment. Our country has resigned to the role of an “advanced guard” of imperialism in the wider area of the Eastern Mediterranean,with the Balkans embroiled in geo-strategical changes.Turkey,in a role of a regional power,is increasing even more its aggressive stance against us.
Our country, whose national sovereignty has been totally compromised, is going through a cultural, spiritual, economic and social decline of a terminal nature, with its territorial integrity being gradually questioned, it has reached the level of what is described as a failed state. This is a tragic reality that contradicts the false words about having overcome the crisis and the imminent ending of the memoranda regime.
Thus Greece is gradually being changed into a Special Economic Zone of a Sub-Saharan type. It is being marginalized and no longer plays an important role in international developments. It is even deprived of the possibility of being able to exploit any advantages that are being created by the big chαnges that are taking place internationally.
The whole package of regional revendications maintained by our ”friends” against our country, is quickly driven to “solutions” through consecutive national concessions that tend to create a new situation, with basic characteristics a lesser Greece, inexistant sovereignty and without a role in this vital geopolitical area.
The traditional greek political system, demonstrates a provoking indifference to understand the size of this “package” that threatens our country within the changes taking place in the larger geopolitical environment. It exhausts its rhetoric in useless chatter focusing on the economic misery of the Greek people. That is why it has become an accomplice that is just witnessing the forthcoming disaster.
B. The identity of the necessary political change.
Under these circumstances and in order to prevent developments from becoming non-reversible, the only solution is for society to come out from its marginalisation, its despair, its indifference and political paralysis that it has been condemned to and present itself as a real fighting power that will assume the role of a sovereign protagonist.
A protagonist that will stop the downhill road followed by the traditional political system and will put us on a new path aiming to regain fully the ownership of our country and of our lives.
It is a fact, that since 2011, there were various political attempts ,which failed to materialise because of the prevailing logic of the old political apparatus,of personal ambitions,and of various ideological constraints. Everything that was tried during that period failed because of the strength of the regime that demonstrated that new approaches were needed.
Approaches that would be based on modern analyses and effective proposals, but also persons that would be able to inspire, to convince and of course to mobilize society once again and particularly the new generation. In this way , the people may become a key player for developments and a catalyst and guarantor for political changes towards another direction.
And if the realisation of this, is our main political and national objective, we know that it will not be easy to achieve but an unified political initiative with concrete aims will be necessary through which:
- 1. The total break from the acquis of the occupation will be made. It will be done through a process of an aggressive policy aiming to fully and finally destroy the regime of submission and of dependence.
- 2. The basis will be set out for the radical reorientation for the construction of a sovereign,independent and truly democratic and prosperous Greece.
- 1. National Security-National Independence-enhancement of the international role of the country.
- 2. National independent economic development and productivity-National sovereign monetary policy.
- 3. Institutional reorganization and democratic transformation.
- 4. Social policy-Social State
It is obvious that all the above presuppose a political clash with the regime and also with its internal supporters who control the complicated mechanism of disinformation, repression and guided deception that result in social indifference.
Consequently it is a political clash to overthrow the regime, which in final analysis, concerns the identity of power and the means of exercising it.
It is obvious that there can be no consistent struggle for a radical democratic change if this struggle is not focused towards overthrowing the entire corrupt structure that is working for the existing system and its foreign rulers.
It is a system that will try by any way to prevent developments towards a democratic and progressive direction, to prevent freedom from foreign reliance, to stop the possibility of acquiring national sovereignty and of course to prevent the redefinition of an integrated national strategic plan that would allow a productive and economic redeployment. Such a plan would also allow the geostrategic upgrading in the wider area of our vital interests. It will be a democratic plan whose final objective will be the prosperity of all citizens.
D. Strategic priorities and program for a Free Greece.
Within the framework of this unified political process, the basic program of objectives, include the following non-negotiable strategic priorities that aim at:
- the immediate and absolute break with the regime
- the immediate and full annulation of the memoranda acquis
- the immediate and full implementation of mechanisms of defense and restructuring of a free,independent and democratic Greece.
- 1. Denunciation of the Public debt as odious and illegal with a verbal Note to the Secretary General of the U.N.,on the basis of articles 46,48,52,61 and 62 of the Vienna Convention of 1967 concerning the right of Treaties.
- 2. Invalidation of all laws imposed by the memoranda from May 2010.
- 3. Immediate invalidation of the laws by which the Bank of Greece is subjected to be under the European Central Bank (ECB) .All of the assets and property of the Bank of Greece are nationalised and come under State ownership.
- 4. Likewise after liquidation, all other banks are put under State control.
- 5. Immediate activation of the exit procedure from the E.U. and the Eurozone (article 50 of the Lisbon Treaty) and at the same time activation of the process for issuing national currency.
- 6. Referral to the judiciary system of all those involved in the illegal spending of State funds as well as in the signature of any kind of contracts or agreements that violate the Constitution and have binded and mortgaged the country.
- 7. Immediate activation of the procedures that are necessary to create, by a Constituent Assembly, of a new democratic constitution that will be put to a vote by referendum.
- 8. Secure a national legal-political and diplomatic preparedness vis-vis all international organisations in order to provide data for all claims .The activation of all internationally existing rules for saving the strategic infrastructure of the country from destruction and restoring it.
- 9. The reappraisal of the contracts and agreements regarding the pipeline policy, the road, port and all other infrastructures as well as that of energy policy.
- 10. Nationalization of all enterprises of strategic and national importance as well as those that manage social goods, like water and electricity. At the same time, cancellation of all acts undertaken by the Hellenic Republic Asset Development Fund (HRADF) and investigation be opened on the activities of each member of the Board of Directors.
- 11. Establishment of a committee for the immediate reappraisal of all auctions that have taken place after May 2010, cancellation of acts changing ownership where necessary and return of property to the legal owners.
- 12. Deletion of certified debts through a program of debt cancellation for the majority of Greek citizens.This will be implemented in parallel with a program of property confiscation,where deemed necessary in cases of persons involved in unjustified squandering of public funds and against politicians who dealt with contracts or agreements that were against the interests of the State.
- 13. Immediate restoration of income, salaries, pensions and all labor relations. Immediate implementation of of a policy of full and stable employment through the implementation of an overall program of public investments. A mid-term program of production and social reorganization will be made.
- 14. Guarantee of the bank deposits of the citizens and the purchase power of their income.
- 15. Abolition of the existing complicated tax system and replacing it by a simple and just one based on the principle of “income-expenditure”. The new Constitution will guarantee that expenditures will exclusively cover the operational needs of the State, all social expenditures (health,education, etc) as well as the needs for an effective national defense.
- 16. Immediate implementation of radical policies reversing the demographic catastrophe and facilitating the return of Greek scientists and workers that left the country all these years. The demographic issue,the policies supporting the family and the planned population decentralisation,constitute a substantial triptych for the construction of a new Greece. An immediate reexamination and strategic reorientation of the policies concerning the refugee-immigration issue. Our country is facing problems because of the Dublin and Schengen Agreements which obliges us to immediately denounce them.
- 17. Reconstruction of the National Health System on new and modern bases that also guarantee,by the Constitution,the right of every Greek to have free access to all levels of healthcare.
- 18. Reconstruction of Public and free education in all levels in such a way that it contributes to the cultural rebirth of of the Greek people and elevates its educational level to such a degree that it will allow our country to play an important role in international technological developments.
- 19. Adoption of immediate measures to stop the destruction of the small and medium- size enterprises (S.M.E.’s) by the adoption of policies that support them in a substantial way. Particular importance will be given to the reopening of industrial and craft units within the framework of a regional development policy.
- 20. Reorganisation of agricultural and livestock production so that it contributes to the G.N.P. and oriented:
a) towards the traditional quality of the “golden products” of the Greek countryside,
b) against the introduction of genetically modified food,
c) assuring sufficiency of products for the internal market and
d) in strengthening the policy of aggressive exports with mutually beneficial trade agreements.
- 21. The elaboration of a modern defense dogma that will contribute to to the security and defense of the country is of absolute priority.
- 22. Insistance on the claims for war reparations from Germany and the return in full of the loan of the occupation.
These policies also include the the dream of another country , our decisiveness to defend it without any compromise, the respectfulness of the main actors of this struggle and the characteristics of our victory.
The implementation of our policies and the political changes that they cause, mainly the enhancement of a Democratic-Patriotic power as the only way to create and govern a free and independent country, makes the difference. And we hope that it becomes a permanent source of inspiration for our people and youth.
